More expensive insurance!

Because of a ruling last year in the European Court of Justice, it will soon become illegal for insurance companies to price their policies based on the gender of the person applying for the insurance. This "gender neutral" pricing, will mean that the premiums on life insurance, critical illness and income protection policies are likely to rise by an average of 10% across the board.
